I spent a few months organising a style shoot to get some promotional images of my new collection and on the 29 October it all came together with a fantastic team of professionals to produce some truly beautiful shots.
I wanted something elegant, ethereal with a bit of a fairytale feel to compliment the delicate and vintage style of the new pieces. I discussed my ideas and requirements with Stellar Visions Photo & Video photographer Rob, who took my concept and brought it all to reality.
It was an early start with our model Kylie being made up by makeup artist Chloe from A Brush With Colour and Rachelle doing the hairstyling on behalf of The Pretty Parlour.

I needed close up shots of my individual designs being worn and I wanted both traditional style head shots but also something unique to make it interesting. I set about thinking up ideas for a prop and came up with a branch and gold metallic leaf design. Below are some of my favourite close ups from the day, I hope you enjoy them.
I asked Maxine from CAKE by Maxine to provide a dessert table. Her cakes, desserts and styling were superb and on point as the perfect backdrop to bring the vision to life.
For the first set up we used the dessert table as a backdrop on to which I would also incorporate my accessories. Here is the first shot with our model Kylie.
Two stunning gowns were provided by couturier designer Beata of Chein Noir Dezines so we could get a couple of different looks for the photos.
For the second concept shot I wanted a birds eye view of Kylie surrounded by cakes and desserts. We decided to do two versions of this particular shot using each of the dresses supplied.
